Job summary

TRANSPAK SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Freight Forwarding Coordinator to act as the main contact for customers on sea freight shipments, coordinating import, export and cross-trade movements end-to-end.

You will manage documentation, carrier liaison, customs clearance, rate proposals, and provide proactive shipment updates while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• GCE O Level or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Freight Forwarding industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for customers on sea freight shipments and enquiries.
• Coordinate import, export, and cross-trade shipments in accordance with customer requirements.
• Manage end-to-end shipment coordination (booking, arrival notice, documentation, DG declaration, transportation, tracking, fumigation and insurance).
• Process import and export customs clearance for customers.
• Support rate quotations and service proposals to customers.
• Liaise with carriers, forwarders, warehouses, transport providers, overseas agents and internal teams.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping documentation (BL, Switch BL, invoices, permits, etc.) including verification of shipping costings.
• Register customer records and shipment data in system.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively update customers on delays or issues.
• Handle shipments issues and resolve service-related complaints professionally.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company procedures.
• Prepare relevant operational and service performance reports.
• Participate in process improvement and service quality initiatives.

Education
