Job summary

ONE STOP FREIGHT SERVICES PTE LTD is expanding its airfreight operations and customer support team in Singapore. You will own export documentation end-to-end and keep import shipments moving, with a lean, problem-solving environment and deadlines driving delivery.

Role requires self-direction, strong communication with customers, carriers and agents, and the ability to fix recurring issues at the source while maintaining compliance with Singapore Customs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in freight forwarding, shipping lines, customs brokerage or similar.
• Evidence of self-direction and taking initiative when gaps are found.
• Accuracy under volume and time pressure with good judgment for escalations.
• Strong technical and communication fundamentals for liaising with customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute export Air Waybills and all supporting shipping documentation, accurately and to deadline
• Monitor import shipments from booking to delivery — track status, arrange collection and delivery, chase carriers and agents, and close out exceptions
• Act as the day-to-day liaison for China-based customers: shipment updates, queries, documentation requirements and issue resolution
• Coordinate with carriers, ground handlers, hauliers, overseas agents and internal warehouse and transport teams
• Ensure shipment records and filings are complete and compliant with Singapore Customs and carrier requirements
• Identify recurring operational problems and fix them at the source, not one shipment at a time

About the role (Air Freight Operations & Customer Support)

We are an airfreight-specialised freight forwarder, warehousing and transport company. We are expanding our operations team in preparation for a new high-volume contract. You will own export documentation end-to-end and keep import shipments moving.

This is a seat for someone who moves without handholding. Our operations are lean: Our teams are given problems and deadlines, not a script.

What you'll do

• Prepare and execute export Air Waybills and all supporting shipping documentation, accurately and to deadline
• Monitor import shipments from booking to delivery — track status, arrange collection and delivery, chase carriers and agents, and close out exceptions
• Act as the day-to-day liaison for China-based customers: shipment updates, queries, documentation requirements and issue resolution
• Coordinate with carriers, ground handlers, hauliers, overseas agents and internal warehouse and transport teams
• Ensure shipment records and filings are complete and compliant with Singapore Customs and carrier requirements

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in freight forwarding, shipping lines, customs brokerage, trade finance, or another high-volume transactional documentation role where errors carried real cost
• Alternatively: Evidence of self-direction — work you started, tools or systems you taught yourself, scope and processes you grew because you saw the gap and filled it
• Accuracy under volume and time pressure, and the judgement to know which exception needs escalating now
• Strong technical and communication fundamentals for direct liaison with customers, carriers and agents

Strong advantages

• Dangerous Goods certification (IATA DGR), or hands-on experience handling and documenting DG shipments — we weight this heavily
• Direct AWB and export documentation experience
• TradeNet and customs permit declaration experience
• Background experience in handling aircraft spares, time-critical shipments and aviation industry
• Experience in supporting daily liaison with China-based customers
