AGI Freight Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Airfreight Operation Executive to join our team at Changi Airport East Region. The role focuses on managing shipments, coordinating with airlines, handling documentation and ensuring smooth cargo movement through Singapore's premier airport.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of freight forwarding experience, knowledge of shipping documentation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. DGR certification is a plus, and OT/weekend duties may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year relevant experience in freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and cargo paperwork.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT systems.
• DGR certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage all air export processes and associated tasks efficiently
• Prepare and execute airway bills for general cargo, dangerous cargo, perishable cargo etc.
• Prepare export documents such as cargo acceptance checklist, cargo security certificate, indemnity letter and airline labels
• Ensure all export cargo are properly marked and labelled prior to transfer to airlines
• Provide accurate and on time instructions to cargo handlers on the transfer of cargo for export
• Submit export cargo clearance permit detail to custom permit declarant
• Handle Customs Permit Declarations, ensuring adherence to regulations and guidelines
• Manage the billing process in full and meet dateline with accuracy in data entry and updating
• Send pre-alerts to shipper and overseas agent

About the role

AGI Freight Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Airfreight Operation Executive to join our dynamic team at Changi Airport East Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our airfreight forwarding business. As an Airfreight Operation Executive, you will be at the heart of our logistics operations, managing shipments, coordinating with airlines, handling documentation, and ensuring seamless cargo movement through Singapore's premier airport. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliability and efficiency in the competitive freight forwarding industry.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all air export processes and associated tasks efficiently
• Prepare and execute airwaybills for general cargo, dangerous cargo, perishable cargo etc.
• Prepare export documents such as cargo acceptance checklist, cargo security certificate, indemnity letter and airline labels
• Ensure all export cargo are properly marked and labelled prior to transfer to airlines

About you

• Sense of urgency in managing customers' requests
• Able to commit OT / weekend duties / after office hours' shipment coordination if required
• Able to commence immediately or with short notice will be preferred
• Familiar with SysFreight & CCN preferred
