EMO TRANS LOGISTICS SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking an Air Operation Executive to join our team in the Changi East Region. This full-time role manages and coordinates air freight operations, ensuring timely pickup, documentation, and cargo movement.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of air freight experience, is adept with logistics systems, IATA knowledge, and can work in a fast-paced environment supporting our international freight forwarding services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare air waybills, invoices, and shipping documents with accuracy.

• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and accurate records.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams for proper cargo handling.

About the role

EMO TRANS LOGISTICS SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking an Air Operation Executive to join our dynamic team in the Changi East Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating air freight operations. As an Air Operation Executive, you will be at the heart of our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of cargo through our air freight channels. This role is essential to maintaining our operational excellence and supporting the strategic growth of our freight forwarding services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate daily air freight shipments, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of cargo

• Liaise with airlines, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth cargo movement and documentation

• Prepare and process air waybills, invoices, and other shipping documentation with accuracy and attention to detail

• Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers regarding cargo status and delivery schedules

• Manage and resolve operational issues, delays, and discrepancies that may arise during the freight forwarding process

• Maintain accurate records of all air freight operations and maintain compliance with relevant regulations

• Coordinate with warehouse and ground handling teams to ensure proper cargo handling and storage

• Support cost optimisation initiatives by identifying efficient routing and consolidation opportunities

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless operations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in air freight operations or freight forwarding

• Strong knowledge of air cargo handling procedures, documentation requirements and customs regulations

• Proficiency in logistics management systems and software applications

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels

• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing documentation and data entry

• Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges

• Knowledge of IATA regulations and familiarity with air cargo safety standards is preferred

• Diploma or higher qualification in logistics, supply chain management or a related field is an advantage

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
