Sin Chew Woodpaq Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to manage daily scheduling and fleet deployments for heavy vehicles. You will coordinate with warehouses and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and compliant documentation.

Responsibilities include driver dispatch, GPS monitoring, safety paperwork, and cross-team coordination. The role requires English fluency and Mandarin proficiency, a Diploma in Logistics, and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Competenze

• Proficiency in English; Mandarin required for liaising with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and clients.
• 3 years or more in logistics operations and fleet control is preferred.
• Diploma in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Work closely with customer service department on job arrangement.

Plan and set priorities for daily activities efficiently, including:

1. 1. Daily operation staff and fleet (heavy vehicles) deployments


2. 2. Oversee the submission of name list and other documents for pre-job clearance


3. 3. Arrange and co-ordinate with trailer & crane subcontractor, if necessary


4. 4. Ensure that all job requirements are properly arranged and clearly disseminated to the relevant stakeholders


5. 5. Monitor daily jobs completion, ensure that all jobs are completed on time and up to service standards


6. 6. Monitor drivers' movement through GPS Tracking System


7. 7. Ensure all job documentation including DO and job related safety documents are prepared properly


8. 8. Coordinate with warehouse for all incoming and outgoing cargo


9. 9. Arrange drivers for purchasing/collecting of materials/equipment


10. 10. Work closely with other controller for efficient coordination of jobs arrangement


11. 11. Arrange manpower for any safety findings rectification


12. 12. Work with Human Resource on training scheduling and overtime matters for operations staff


13. 13. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• 1. Singaporeans Only.


• 2. Min Diploma in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent


• 3. At least 3 years of relevant experience in logistics operation and fleet control preferred, but not a must


• 4. Familiar with Singapore roads to assign jobs for drivers


• 5. Is proficient in English and able to speak Mandarin as this position require liaising and working closely with Mandarin speaking colleagues and clients.


• 6. Able to work independently with minimum supervision as well as a team player


• 7. Meticulous, pro-active and high sense of responsibility


• 8. Good interpersonal and communication skills


• 9. PC literate and proficient in MS Office Excel and Outlook


• 10. Willing and able to commit to 5.5days work week and beyond working hours to complete daily work schedules, when necessary
