Salary: S$3,500 – S$4,000 per month + relevant allowances
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM during probation, with earlier completion subject to achievement of team KPI.
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Saturday flexible work arrangement may be available after completion of the 3–6month probation period.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Planner &Traffic Controller / Team Supervisor to manage daily logistics planning, real-time fleet coordination and frontline supervision of drivers and delivery personnel.
The role requires strong planning discipline, operational awareness and the ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate next-day delivery and logistics requirements.
- Update planning promptly for new or late job entries.
- Anticipate delivery constraints, clearance requirements and operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure job details and special requirements are complete before assigning work.
- Monitor vehicle movements and delivery status in real time.
- Identify delays, deviations and operational risks and take timely corrective action.
- Provide operational instructions to drivers to optimize routes and delivery timing.
- Monitor jobs to minimize avoidable storage charges, penalties, failed trips and delays.
- Maintain accurate job start/end times and operational records.
- Respond to operational customer enquiries and escalated significant service issues when required.
- Identify additional billable charges and ensure proper supporting documentation is maintained.
- Monitor vehicle condition, mileage and servicing requirements.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Supervise drivers and delivery assistants on daily assignments, attendance and performance.
- Conduct daily job briefings covering route, timing and special operational requirements.
- Maintain accountability and discipline within the frontline operations team.
Requirements
- O-Level, Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant logistics operations experience involving planning, fleet control or traffic management.
- Previous supervisory or team-lead experience.
- Valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 4 driving licence.
- Strong logistics planning and real-time traffic-control capabilities.
- Able to make sound operational decisions under pressure.
- Strong cost and commercial awareness.
- Able to supervise, guide and coordinate frontline employees.
- Familiarity with GPS fleet-tracking systems is preferred.
- Good written communication skills.
