Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. seeks a logistics operations lead to manage a team of Prime Mover Drivers and coordinate daily trucking tasks. You will plan activities to meet customer needs, assign jobs via PSA systems, and monitor progress to ensure on-time deliveries and pickups.

Familiarity with PSA Portnet, PSA Haulier Community System, and Matrix Net GPS is valuable. Strong planning and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in logistics, trucking or traffic control operations.
• Experience coordinating Prime Mover Drivers is advantageous.
• Familiarity with PSA Portnet and PSA Haulier Community System is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Singapore roads and routes for effective planning and driver assignment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate a team of Prime Mover Drivers for daily trucking operations.
• Plan and prioritise daily transportation activities according to operational and customer requirements.
• Assign trucking jobs to drivers through the PSA Haulier Community System.
• Monitor and track assigned jobs to ensure deliveries and collections are completed on schedule.
• Monitor drivers' movements in real time using the Matrix Net GPS system.
• Handle drivers' feedback and operational issues arising during daily trucking Activities.
• Process and maintain trucking documentation through PSA Portnet.
• Arrange and manage depot bookings through the CDAS CMS online system.
• Coordinate customer trucking requirements with the Customer Service team.
• Collaborate with the Operations Assistant Manager to maximise manpower and vehicle utilisation.
• Ensure operations comply with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 22301 Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Support the achievement of IMS policies and objectives.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Preferably at least 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, trucking or traffic control operations.

• Experience managing or coordinating Prime Mover Drivers would be advantageous.

• Familiarity with PSA Portnet and PSA Haulier Community System would be advantageous.

• Familiar with Singapore roads and routes for effective job planning and driver assignment.

• Good planning, coordination and resource management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

• Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.

• Able to handle operational issues and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive, responsible and detail-oriented.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

• Comfortable with the stated working hours.
