Job summary

A logistics solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage freight shipment operations. You will be responsible for coordinating Import and Export shipments, handling documentation, and ensuring customer requirements are met. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively with various stakeholders, resolve shipment issues, and maintain robust customer relationships. This role demands attention to detail and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Handle documentation and operation of freight shipments.
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating Import and Export shipments.
  • Coordinating and resolving shipment issues.
  • Communicate efficiently with customers and partners.
  • Ensure customer requirements are met and documentation is accurate.
  • Ensure related charges are billed and collected timely.
  • Handle all transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on any short-landed, damaged or discrepancy cargo.
  • Answer customer inquiries and handle complaints.
  • Collaborate with the sales team for customer relationship management.
  • Follow up on outstanding bookings and query resolution.
  • Comply with company directions, policies, and SOPs.
Job description
Responsibilities
  • Handle documentation and operation of freight shipments
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating Import and Export shipments
  • Coordinating and resolving shipment issues
  • To communicate efficiently with customers, airlines, shipping lines, transport team, trucking partners and overseas offices to ensure smooth pick-up and delivery of shipments
  • Ensure customer requirements are met, customers are up to date on their orders and documentation is accurate and precise
  • Ensure related charges are billed and collected timely from the consignee, shippers and agents
  • Ensure all transactions are handled in an accurate and timely manner
  • Effectively follow up with airlines and oversea offices on any short-landed, damaged or any discrepancy cargo
  • Answering customers’ inquiries and handling customers’ complaints
  • Collaborate with the sales team to maintain good customer relationship management
  • And any other work delegated to you by the Management pertaining to the interest of the company
  • Follow up on outstanding bookings and query resolution
  • Complying with company directions, policies and SOPs
