Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is hiring an Operations Assistant for Toll Logistics in Tuas, Singapore. The role focuses on maintaining WMS records, managing inventories, coordinating vehicle deliveries and handling shipping documents.

Requirements include experience in logistics or operations coordination, a valid Class 3 driving licence, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and WMS. Training and regulatory compliance support are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in logistics, operations coordination or customer service.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence with hands-on driving experience – compulsory
• Customs experience or Customs Competency Test (CCT) certification is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and WMS/inventory systems

Responsibilities

• Maintain WMS records for inbound/outbound shipments, import/export activities, duty payments and vehicle movements
• Manage inventory records, location plans and stock movements to ensure accurate system updates
• Coordinate vehicle deliveries and collections while liaising with customers on orders and arrangements
• Prepare shipping documents, permits, transaction records, invoices and defect reports
• Handle billing processes, verify invoice accuracy and support monthly financial reporting
• Support customs declarations and ensure compliance with Singapore Customs, LTA and other regulatory requirements
• Conduct cycle counts, stock takes and prepare KPI/customisation reports for customers
• Support ISO audits, SOP compliance, toolbox meetings and workplace safety/5S+1 standards

Job Responsibilities

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Alternate Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
• 1-hour lunch break on weekdays
