Jun Omakase is seeking an exceptional Omakase Kitchen Chef (Demi or Sous Chef)to join our dynamic team in the heart of the Downtown Core Central Region. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite omakase-style experiences that delight our discerning clientele.

What you'll be doing
  1. Prepare and present meticulously crafted omakase-style cooked dishes using the finest seasonal ingredients

  2. Collaborate with the kitchen & Nigiri & Service team to ensure a seamless and high-quality dining experience

  3. Maintain exceptional standards of food safety and hygiene

  4. Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests and educating them on the art of Omakase.

  5. Participate in menu development and continuous improvement of our sushi offerings

  6. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for
  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Omakase chef or in a high-end restaurant setting

  2. Exceptional skills and a deep understanding of traditional Japanese cuisine and techniques

  3. Exceptional attention to detail, creativity and a commitment to culinary excellence

  4. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to engage and educate guests
