Job Summary
This role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of our business and the ability to translate brand values into captivating content that drives awareness, engagement and thought leadership. This role involves strategy and delivery of creative projects, ensuring brand consistency, and delivering innovative marketing solutions that drive business growth. You will drive the creative vision across all digital and marketing channels, collaborating closely with CIB marketing teams to craft innovative campaigns that inspire, influence and drive client action.
Working closely with brand and marketing teams to ensure assets are effectively positioning the bank, our products and capabilities to the clients we serve and the clients we aspire to bank.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
- Creative Design and Leadership : Develop and execute the overall creative strategy for CIB content marketing, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints—social media, email, website, video, paid media, events and more. Within the frameworks of Global Brand, ability to leverage an enterprise brand strategy into client segment brand activation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product marketing, corporate communications, and agencies, to deliver cohesive and effective marketing solutions.
- Brand Consistency : Ensure all creative outputs maintain brand consistency and uphold the bank’s standards of quality and integrity.
- Innovation : Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve and innovate our creative processes and outputs.
- Performance & Optimization : Use data-driven insights to refine creative approaches, measure campaign effectiveness, and maximize ROI. Share regular updates with stakeholders on campaigns and performance.
- Project Management : Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints
Business
- Work with CIB Marketing teams globally to develop and execute the overall creative strategy for CIB content focused on the key priorities of each vertical aligned to CIB Strategy and plans.
- Build relationships and networks across CIB Marketing and liaise with key business stakeholders on a regular basis to understand their specific needs, the clients they serve, and the opportunities that exist
- Develop creative strategies that puts client data, analytics and insights at the centre, with clear articulation of how marketing is supporting specific business outcomes.
- Share regular updates with stakeholders on marketing campaigns and performance
- Drive continuous improvement in marketing campaigns - led by creative, innovative ideas and a desire to think outside the box
- Liaise with procurement, legal and compliance to ensure contracts, and content processes are aligned with corporate policies and compliance.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend ways to increase functional effectiveness and improve operational efficiencies.
People & Talent
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to collaborate and inspire a creative team. Experience managing creative teams and external agencies.
- Drive impactful engagement between Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing teams
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and innovation within the team and across the organisation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a creative role within a financial service or B2B environment, with a proven track record of developing high impact and compelling brand strategies that drive client engagement and business growth.
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse content across multiple channels (social, video, email, web).
- Expertise in brand storytelling, visual design principles, and digital marketing tools.
- Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret analytics to inform creative decisions
- Strong skills in creative direction, visual design, copywriting, and storytelling. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Turtl, Firefly, Canva and other relevant design tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across different teams and levels of the organization.
- A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for creativity and innovation in marketing.
