Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Offering guidance on IPC matters in alignment with organizational policies.
  • Gathering data and maintaining accurate records for IPC surveillance.
  • Conducting IPC audits such as hand hygiene and environmental assessments.
  • Designing and delivering infection control training programs.
  • Coordinating and managing Infection Control Committee meetings.
  • Presenting public talks on nursing and infection control topics.
  • Developing Standard Operating Procedures related to IPC.
  • Overseeing organization-wide competency programs.
  • Supporting audits, licensing processes, and new service implementations.
  • Supervising Infection Control Representatives.

As a Nurse Clinician (Infection Control)

you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Offering guidance on IPC matters in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Gathering data and maintaining accurate records for IPC surveillance and clinical incident reporting.
  • Conducting IPC audits such as hand hygiene and environmental assessments.
  • Designing and delivering infection control training programs for internal staff.
  • Coordinating and managing Infection Control Committee (ICC) meetings and related initiatives.
  • Confidently presenting public talks on general nursing and infection control topics.
  • Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to Infection Prevention and Control.
  • Overseeing organization-wide competency programs, including mask fitting, hand hygiene assessments, PPE training, and IPC staff orientation.
  • Supporting and participating in audits, licensing processes, and new service implementations requiring IPC input.
  • Supervising Infection Control Representatives and providing guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • Degree in Nursing
  • Must have a valid Singapore Nursing Board License
  • At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Possess Specialist Diploma in Clinical Nursing Education will be an advantage
