Overview

Responsibilities

This role offers a unique opportunity for neuro technologists to contribute meaningfully to the development of neurodiagnostic services at EGH. Apart from performing neurophysiology investigations in accordance with current professional standards, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, you will be part of the team assisting with the development of quality assurance programs to uphold clinical excellence, and clinical care models for EGH’s Neuro Technology department. Daily responsibilities include maintaining equipment safety, managing consumables, and adhering to updated safety protocols. Through your expertise and commitment, you will support the Neuro Technology Lead to help build a responsive, high-quality service that meets clinical needs and supports a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Medical Science, Life Sciences, Biomedical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biological Science or equivalent, OR Degree in Science
  • 4 years with Diploma and Demonstrated competency, OR Degree in Science
  • Completion of American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologist (AAET) Registered NCS Technologist Examination, and/or ASEAN Neurological Association EEG Certification Examination (ASEPA-ASNA), and/or American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM) Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist Examination would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging conditions
