Job summary

Trust Recruit Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Motor Claims Officer to manage and process motor insurance claims within defined turnaround times and company procedures.

You will liaise with customers, service providers and intermediaries, review claims, update reserves, and ensure documentation is thorough. The role requires detail orientation, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple claims efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business, Finance or related discipline.
• General Insurance certification is advantageous.
• Experience in motor/general insurance claims is beneficial.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and process motor insurance claims efficiently and fairly within the stipulated turnaround time, authority limits and company procedures.
• Ensure claims reserves are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
• Identify and manage potential fraudulent claims in accordance with company procedures.
• Handle phone and email enquiries and attend to walk-in customers.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, service providers and intermediaries to facilitate claims resolution.
• Review and streamline work processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure recovery claims are actively pursued and followed up periodically through to resolution.
• Conduct periodic reviews of active claims files to ensure proper follow-up and documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
• Relevant General Insurance certification is advantage.
• Relevant experience in motor claims or general insurance claims will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of motor insurance claims processes and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to manage multiple claims and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer and claimant enquiries professionally.
