Job summary

PLACEMENT PROFESSIONALS in Singapore is seeking a Claims Administrator to handle motor insurance claims with prompt, professional, and fair processing within authority limits. You will review reserves, identify potential fraud, and manage inquiries from customers by phone and email while coordinating with stakeholders and intermediaries.

Fresh graduates with an interest in insurance claims are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of Diploma or CGI/equivalent insurance certification.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process motor insurance claims promptly, professionally, and fairly within the required turnaround time, subject to the stipulated authority limits and company procedures.
• Ensure claim reserves are reviewed and updated promptly to reflect realistic values.
• Identify and effectively address any claims that may involve potential fraudulent activity.
• Handle telephone and email enquiries while assisting walk-in customers and claimants.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, service providers, and intermediaries.
• Mentor administration assistants in their support role.
• Review and streamline work processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure all recovery claims are pursued and followed-up periodically to ensure resolution.
• Conduct regular reviews of active claim files.
• Any other duty or assignment as and when instructed by the superior.
