Job summary

QUESS SINGAPORE is seeking a dedicated claims professional to manage WICA and motor claims processes. The role focuses on processing claims, reserving, and ensuring compliance with statutory timelines while coordinating with adjusters and third parties.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in General Insurance claims, integrity, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities to advise at all management levels. A Diploma or degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer everyday operations and process/work processing claims in WICA.
• Ensure adequate and timely reserving for all claims.
• Ensure all claims-related matters are dealt with within statutory timelines.
• Examine claims investigated by adjusters and determine policy liability.
• Effect recoveries against third parties.
• Annual review of claim files to ensure reserves and close inactive files.
• Maintain adherence to SOPs.
• Attend claim meetings and audits as required.
• Monitor service providers KPIs.

Job description

Key responsibilities (WICA Claims)

• Administer everyday operations and process work processing claims
• Ensure adequate and timely reserving for all claims
• Ensure all claims related matters are dealt within timelines imposed by statute
• Examine claims investigated by insurance adjusters, further investigating questionable claims to determine policy liability
• Effect recoveries against third parties
• Perform annual review of claim files to ensure adequate reserves for active files and close inactive files
• Maintain strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures
• Attend ad hoc claim meetings and audits as required
• Monitor service providers KPIs
  

Key Responsibilities (Motor Claims)

• To manage the shared CRM motor mailbox and perform email categorization and tagging based on claim type and required actions.
• To monitor and track ageing of emails through regular reporting and follow-up. This action supports the team's efforts in reducing unread and overdue emails through active mailbox management.
• To issue acknowledge Letter of Demand (LOD) to third parties and relevant stakeholders.
• To send accident report processing notifications to insured in the event of non-reporting accident upon receiving a third-party claim.
• Responding to correspondences and provide effective and efficient phone services to customers and working closely with support staff on reserve provision and registration requirements
• Administered Motor claims
• Perform user testing on systems on any new products and enhancements
• Strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures
• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
