About the Opportunity
Are you a data centre technical sales or presales expert looking to stay ahead of the technology curve? We are looking for a Senior / Solution Manager to drive our technical sales strategy. In this role, you will bridge commercial strategy and engineering, leading solution design, pricing, and presales support for colocation, connectivity, and managed services.
If you have strong data centre domain expertise and want to expand your horizons into emerging AI infrastructure and GPU bare-metal solutions, this is the perfect place to grow.
What You Will Do
- Presales & Client Engagement: Partner with the Sales team to engage prospects early, scope out technical requirements, and deliver highly compelling solution presentations and RFP responses.
- Solution Architecture: Design and validate comprehensive data centre solutions, covering rack/power density, cooling, cross-connects, SLA alignment, and delivery constraints.
- Commercial Strategy & Pricing: Build competitive, high-margin pricing structures tailored to client consumption models, managing third-party vendor costs and internal escalation protocols.
- Cross-Functional Handover: Facilitate smooth technical transitions by working closely with Service Delivery, Facilities, Operations, and Legal (contributing directly to SOWs and MSAs).
- Market Intelligence: Track the sales pipeline (TCV, margins, RFS lead times) and analyse market shifts—especially around high-density AI infrastructure demand to refine product strategies continually.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience with a data centre operator, colocation provider, system integrator, or managed infrastructure firm.
- Technical Domain Knowledge: Strong working-level understanding of data centre services, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) designs, power/cooling capacity planning, and Layer 1 to Layer 3 networking.
- AI/GPU Readiness: A basic-to-working understanding of GPU bare-metal, high-density deployments, and backend networking is highly advantageous.
- Certifications: Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) or any AI-related IT certifications are a major plus.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional commercial acumen, excellent communication/listening skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a strong collaborative drive.
