Overview

Ugene Lab (www.ugenelab.com) is the premier food testing laboratory. We provide customers with a broad range of microbiological and chemical testing, rapid testing, hygiene monitoring and specialized test methods developed to meet customer needs.

No experience graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and perform microbiological testing of food, Chinese medicine, water, and other.

  • Participate in the implementation of new test methods and new technologies.

  • Perform quality control checks on media, work environment, and equipment.

  • Operate robot for lab testing.

  • Document results in compliance with ISO 17025 certification requirements. Ensure that high quality standards are maintained at all times in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures and ISO17025.

  • Maintain a clean and orderly lab environment.

  • Prepare and register samples using the Laboratory Information Management System.

  • Assist with other tasks as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or other Life Science degree

  • Ability to understand and follow complex technical instructions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be able to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.

  • Pays close attention to detail and has strong analytical and organization skills

  • Highly motivated individual who acts with integrity

  • Able to work 5.5 days per week
