Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator
The Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all M&E services on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise M&E works including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and other building services.
- Review M&E drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure alignment with architectural and structural plans.
- Liaise with consultants, M&E subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site and design issues.
- Monitor progress of M&E works on-site and report to Project Manager regularly.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Attend coordination meetings and assist in the integration of M&E systems with overall project planning.
- Track and manage materials, tools, and manpower requirements for M&E installations.
- Ensure proper documentation and assist with testing and commissioning processes.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in M&E coordination in construction or engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and M&E schematics.
- Good communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or Revit MEP knowledge is a plus.
