Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in marketing and category management, with proven analytical and negotiation skills. Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is essential. Qualifications

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Marketing & Promotions: Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events; develop engaging catalogues and promotional materials; oversee print and digital marketing collateral, ensuring alignment with all stakeholders.
  • Catalogue & Program Development: Lead the planning, curation, and production of product catalogues and promotional materials; coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of marketing materials; ensure all content complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Sales Analysis & Reporting: Analyse sales data, customer insights, and competitive activity to guide category and marketing strategies; prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management; identify opportunities for growth and recommend strategic actions.
  • Category Management & Stock Planning: Manage assigned product categories, including assortment strategy, pricing, and lifecycle management; forecast demand and plan inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and availability; monitor sales trends to adjust category strategies and maximise performance.
  • Supplier Relations & Negotiation: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and brand partners; negotiate pricing, margins, advertising & promotional support, and exclusive product offers; collaborate with suppliers on product launches and marketing initiatives.
Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Retail, or related field.
  • 8‑10 years of experience in marketing & category management within travel retail / consumer goods.
  • Ability to work independently, a team player, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross‑functional projects.
  • Experience leading a team; working in the Airlines industry would be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, ERP systems, and marketing tools.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese.
  • Able to start work at short notice.
