Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Marine Fire Safety Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, repair, and certification of marine fire safety equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems are compliant with international maritime safety standards and regulations, providing reliable fire safety solutions for vessels. Fresh graduates with relevant technical diplomas or certificates and a strong willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing all onboard firefighting system and rescue equipment.
  • Support the supervisor with inspections and servicing of assigned jobs, ensuring work is completed to the full satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, certifications, and service reports for audit and regulatory purposes.
  • Respond promptly to service requests, understanding the operational urgency aboard vessels and in port.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and work in confined spaces and at heights with proper certifications.
  • Follow company and regulatory safety procedures, ensuring quality and safety in all activities.
