Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Manufacturing Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations and support our key retail clients in the beauty, cosmetics, and personal care sectors. This role combines logistics coordination, inventory management, and customer service while providing on-site support for procurement-related issues. You will ensure seamless product delivery, resolve client procurement challenges, and maintain optimal inventory levels, all while adhering to the unique demands of the cosmetics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory and Operation Management:

  • Supervise daily operations to ensure efficient storage, picking, packing, and shipping of cosmetics and personal care products
  • Manage inventory control processes, including stock levels, order fulfillment, product rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and preventing stockouts
  • Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials and packaging materials
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, address discrepancies, and ensure products are stocked according to demand projections
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse in compliance with health, safety, and GMP standards for cosmetic products
  • Implement best practices to optimize warehouse layout, storage solutions, and workflow efficiency

Logistics & Client Coordination:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for retail clients, distributors, and logistics partners in the cosmetics and personal care sector
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure on-time delivery and fulfillment of orders, keeping clients informed about delivery schedules and shipping status
  • Assist clients with inventory management, ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained to meet sales forecasts and minimize excess stock
  • Handle high-priority shipments, manage custom orders, and resolve logistics issues to ensure client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align warehouse operations with client needs, product launches, and promotional timelines
  • Supporting the sales team to meet the Sales Performance KPI

Support on Client's Site – Procurement & Inventory Solutions:

  • Provide on-site support to retail clients and distributors for procurement-related issues, including resolving inventory shortages or delays
  • Work closely with clients to understand their procurement needs and streamline their ordering process, offering customized solutions to improve supply chain efficiency
  • Assist clients with understanding lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQ), and product availability to ensure they make timely purchasing decisions
  • Help clients optimize their stock levels and manage re-ordering processes to avoid out-of-stock situations or overstocking
  • Offer troubleshooting assistance for inventory challenges, including identifying bottlenecks, delays, or quality issues and resolving them promptly
  • Act as a liaison between the client and internal procurement and production teams to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution
  • Educate clients on best practices for managing inventory and coordinating future procurement orders

Team Leadership & Supervision:

  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that operational goals are met and maintained consistently
  • Allocate tasks and manage workflow to prioritize client orders, stock replenishment, and operational efficiency
  • Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and ensure continuous training on warehouse processes, safety standards, and handling cosmetic products
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, emphasizing communication, efficiency, and safety
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including the safe handling of cosmetic products, chemicals, and packaging materials

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor the quality of products throughout the receiving, storage, and shipping processes, ensuring compliance with cosmetic industry regulations and brand standards
  • Work closely with the QA team to identify, resolve, and document any product quality issues encountered during warehouse handling or client deliveries
  • Implement process improvements to streamline warehouse operations, enhance product delivery timelines, and reduce operational costs
  • Stay current on logistics trends, warehouse management innovations, and customer service best practices to continuously improve operational performance

Requirements:
