About The Role

As a Manager/Senior Manager for the Strategic Procurement - Estate and Environment Services office, you will be based in ALPS HQ office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex RFP processes from start to finish, coordinating with Public Health Institution stakeholders throughout. Develop strategic sourcing initiatives for estate and environmental services, streamline procurement processes, and identify cost savings opportunities while assessing supplier performance and market dynamics.

  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal terms for estate and environmental services, including pricing, delivery, and payment conditions. Build mutually beneficial supplier relationships while protecting organisational interests through strategic negotiation approaches.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including PHI department heads and project leads, to understand procurement needs. Ensure procurement strategies align with organisational goals and maintain stakeholder engagement throughout processes.

  • Oversee contract management for estate and environmental service suppliers. Ensure compliance monitoring, performance tracking, contract renewals, and amendments to meet evolving business requirements with proactive contract management.

  • Build strong healthcare sector vendor relationships, monitor performance against quality and delivery standards, conduct regular evaluations, resolve disputes, and serve as the primary liaison fostering collaboration between the organisation and suppliers.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • At least 5 years of proven procurement/supply chain experience in indirect categories with strong negotiation and vendor management track record
  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and informed decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective stakeholder engagement at all levels
  • Strong organisational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to analyze data (e.g., Tableau, advanced Excel) and background in healthcare or hospitality services preferred
