Job summary

Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall operations of multiple Active Ageing Centres
  • Supervise and mentor Supervisors, fostering a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Ensure compliance by developing/updating SOPs, emergency plans, and operational guidelines.
  • Handle incidents, audits, public enquiries, feedback, and all required documentation.
  • Track attendance, programme participation, and befriending data, ensuring timely reporting to AIC/MOH.
  • Oversee facility maintenance, procurement, vendor coordination, and cost‑effective resource management.
  • Plan manpower deployment to ensure sufficient staffing across centres.
  • Manage the daily operations of the community café, including budgeting, procurement, and supplier flow.
  • Guide staff and volunteers in café operations to ensure financial accountability and sustainability.
  • Review café performance and ensure it supports community engagement mission.
  • Lead outreach and engagement activities within the centre’s service boundary.
  • Support innovative programme design tailored to community needs.
  • Oversee befriending and buddying initiatives for seniors.
  • Drive the ABCD (Asset‑Based Community Development) approach by recruiting and empowering local volunteers.
  • Manage volunteer recruitment, training, and database maintenance.
  • Evaluate programmes to measure outcomes and improve effectiveness.
  • Build strong relationships with community partners, donors, and volunteers.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare and social service partners (e.g., Polyclinics, GPs, SSO, SGO) for coordinated referrals and integrated care.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree holder
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience and proven experience in team leadership, operations management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in managing aging centre will be a plus point
