Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance (15%)

• Perform servicing, inspection, repair, and maintenance of equipment, plant, and facilities.

Corrective Maintenance (35%)

• Carry out minor and major repairs, replacements, and improvements of equipment, plant, and facilities.
• Organize recovery to the workshop for repairs if unable to rectify on-site, ensuring minimal delays and downtime.
• Implement corrective actions required by audit and safety findings.

Documentation and Records (5%)

• Record completed work and input data into the daily job sheet.
• Update maintenance daily occurrences and checklists.
• Complete tasks in the My Learning Zone portal.

Safety and Housekeeping (5%)

• Maintain a safe work area.
• Practice safe work methods and proper use of tools.
• Use personal protective equipment as required.
• Ensure good housekeeping of the work area.

Breakdown Maintenance (40%)

• Troubleshoot, rectify, and reactivate equipment, plant, and facilities.
• Organize recovery to the workshop for repairs if unable to rectify on-site, ensuring minimal delays and downtime.

Miscellaneous

• Exercise economy in the replacement of parts.
• Participate in work improvement activities.
• Engage in Stop Observation Schemes.
• Pursue self-development to upgrade technical knowledge and skills.
