Job Summary

We seek a hands‑on Maintenance Engineer to ensure peak operational performance of our CNC machining centers, EDM equipment, and facility systems. You'll combine technical expertise with preventive/predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime in our aerospace production environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Equipment Maintenance & Reliability
   • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on:
     • CNC machines (5‑axis mills, lathes, grinders – Mazak, DMG Mori, etc.)
     • EDM machines (Wire/Sinker – AgieCharmilles, Mitsubishi)
     • Auxiliary systems (coolant filtration, compressed air, hydraulics)
   • Implement predictive maintenance (vibration analysis, thermal imaging)
   • Reduce MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) through rapid troubleshooting
2. Process Improvement
   • Lead OEE improvement projects for critical equipment
   • Design/maintain maintenance schedules in CMMS (e.g., SAP PM, Fiix)
   • Collaborate with production to minimize unscheduled downtime
3. Technical Leadership
   • Train technicians on advanced troubleshooting techniques
   • Specify replacement parts/spares for aerospace‑grade equipment
   • Interface with OEMs for warranty claims/technical support
4. Compliance & Safety
   • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and aerospace standards
   • Maintain lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures for all equipment
   • Document maintenance activities per AS9100 requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years maintenance experience in precision manufacturing
• Expertise in:
  • CNC/EDM machine repair (spindles, ball screws, servo drives)
  • PLC troubleshooting (Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi)
  • Hydraulic/pneumatic systems

Preferred

• Aerospace industry experience
• Certifications: CRP, CMRP, or PLC programming
• Robotics/automation integration knowledge
