Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced M&E Engineer to coordinate with various stakeholders for project execution. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and have a minimum of 8 years of engineering experience in the relevant field. Responsibilities include liaising with sub-contractors, attending technical meetings, and monitoring project timelines. A strong knowledge of design and build projects along with M&E expertise is essential.

Job Description

1. Coordinating with multiple parties (consultants, architects, authority agencies, client’s project representatives, sub-contractors etc) for the establishment of the M&E design.
2. Attending design technical meeting to address technical and coordination issues.
3. Reviewing sub-contractor technical submission to ensure that it is in order for submission.
4. Liaising with M&E sub-contractors and M&E consultant when required to address technical issues.
5. Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
6. To chair BIM meeting and ensure M&E services to be well-coordinated.
7. Monitoring and managing sub-contractor technical submission/approval progress to ensure that the approval is within project timeline.
