Job summary

TSTAR Recruit Pte. Ltd. has partnered with an established MNC to secure an M&E Coordinator in Singapore.

The role focuses on coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to prepare and review shop drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, and method statements. Candidate should have a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least 4 years of M&E experience in construction, and will assist with planning, T&C workflows, and on-site safety compliance at City

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of M&E experience in construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, drawings, and construction practices.
  • Experience with site coordination and clash detection.
  • Familiarity with T&C procedures and authority submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to prepare, review, and submit shop drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, and method statements.
  • Assist the M&E Engineer in planning and sequencing M&E works to avoid clashes and ensure smooth integration with architectural and structural trades.
  • Review M&E drawings against other disciplines to identify discrepancies, clashes, and constructability issues before execution.
  • Liaise with subcontractors to ensure material procurement schedules, delivery timelines, and installation plans meet project requirements.
  • Attend coordination, technical, and site meetings to follow up on M&E issues and provide updates on progress and outstanding items.
  • Monitor site progress of M&E works, providing technical guidance to supervisors and subcontractor teams to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate Testing & Commissioning (T&C) workflows, including preparation of T&C plans, witnessing schedules, and document tracking.
  • Compile and maintain project documentation such as drawings, RFIs, approvals, inspection records, T&C submissions, and as-built updates.
  • Follow up on authority submission requirements (BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA, NEA, LTA) and assist consultants and subcontractors in preparing required documents on time.
  • Resolve coordination issues by proposing technical solutions or alternatives and communicate decisions clearly to all involved parties.
  • Support QA/QC activities, including site inspections, material verification, and monitoring rectification works for non-compliances.
  • Ensure site safety compliance by coordinating with the WSH team and ensuring subcontractors follow RA, SWP, and permit-to-work processes.
  • Mentor and support M&E Supervisors by clarifying technical requirements, reviewing inspection findings, and improving coordination, documentation, and site-management skills.

  • Knowledge of authority submission requirements (BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA, NEA, LTA).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior staff while ensuring high-quality site execution.
  • Awareness of WSH regulations and site safety practices.

  • Salary: Up to SGD 5,500 +AWS+VB (1-2 Months)
  • Working Location:City Hall
  • Working Hours:5 Days Work, 9am - 6pm
