Job summary

TSTAR Recruit Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to support our client's M&E Department in Singapore.

You will coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, attend technical meetings, verify on-site installations, and drive ISO-ready documentation. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years in M&E within main contractor or subcontractor settings, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of M&E experience in main contractor or subcontractor.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems and construction standards.
• Ability to verify and supervise on-site M&E works and enforce compliance.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Familiar with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in construction.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors on shop drawings, samples, and method statements.
• Attend project and technical meetings to resolve site issues with owners, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Verify on-site work complies with drawings, specifications, and authority requirements; ensure subcontractors rectify non-compliance promptly.
• Conduct weekly M&E meetings with subcontractors to confirm proper work sequence and prevent clashes with other site activities.
• Coordinate combined services and equipment testing with consultants and contractors to prepare sites for authority inspections.
• Maintain updated documentation and records to ensure readiness for ISO audits.
• Collaborate with the safety department and perform duties within the safety framework, including permit-to-work compliance.
• Proactively resolve site issues to minimize construction delays and maintain schedule adherence.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 6,100 +VB (1-2 Months)
• Working Location:City Hall
• Working Hours:5 Days Work, 9am - 6pm
