Job summary

TSTAR Recruit Pte. Ltd. on behalf of our client seeks an M&E Engineer (Site) to oversee on-site M&E activities in Singapore, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and authorities.

You will coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, resolve issues, and participate in safety and permit-to-work processes. The role requires a Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years' site experience; strong communication and problem-solving skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of M&E experience on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems and construction standards.
• Ability to verify and supervise on-site M&E works and enforce compliance.
• Skilled in coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors on shop drawings, samples, and method statements.

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a M&E Engineer (Site):

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors on shop drawings, samples, and method statements, keeping all parties updated on changes.
• Attend project and technical meetings to resolve site issues with owners, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth site progress.
• Verify on-site work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements; ensure subcontractors rectify non-compliance.
• Conduct weekly M&E meetings with subcontractors to confirm proper work sequence and prevent clashes with other site activities.
• Coordinate combined services and equipment testing with consultants and contractors for authority inspections.
• Maintain updated documentation and records to ensure readiness for ISO audits.
• Collaborate with the safety department and perform duties within the safety framework, including permit-to-work compliance.
• Proactively resolve site issues to minimize construction delays and maintain schedule adherence.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E services on construction sites.
• Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems and construction standards.
• Ability to verify and supervise on-site M&E works and enforce compliance.
• Skilled in coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site issues efficiently.
• Familiar with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in construction.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 5,400 +VB (1-2 Months)
• Working Location:City Hall
• Working Hours:5 Days Work, 9am - 6pm
