Job summary

A major engineering company based in Singapore is seeking an experienced E&M Coordinator to manage and coordinate engineering and mechanical activities for large-scale MRT projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in E&M coordination, possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and demonstrate outstanding team and communication skills. Responsibilities include supervising a team, managing integration of designs, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. This role requires excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description:

  1. Responsible for the co-ordination and interface with LTA System Wide Contractor and Department Heads
  2. Co-ordinate with Client and respective personnel / LTA System Wide Contractor on the co-ordination of construction and consolidate the action items and report back to Department Heads
  3. Preparing the co-ordinated installation programme (CIP) and sign off by all parties
  4. Manage the integration of the E&M SWC designs into the civil / structural / architectural designs ensuring authorities requirements are met
  5. Responsible for the application of permit and liaise with respective local Authorities on issues pertaining to permit for commencement of works / diversion of existing services
  6. Plan, Prepare and Update the schedule for the submission of Samples / Shop Drawings / Method Statement
  7. Raise CSD / SEM Changes queries in the event of services clashing. Prepare and Obtain approval for Final CSD / SEM drawings and sign off SWCs prior to construction.
  8. Assist Coordination manager to issue all the construction drawings and approved Sign Off drawings to related station/tunnel for construction and for preparing M&E procurement schedule and update periodically
  9. Required to attend co-ordination / progress / technical meetings
  10. Scheduling of overall M&E services works and review construction programme
  11. Coordinate with M&E Supervisors for the preparation of as-built information and submit to SWC Coordinator for his review
  12. Prepare and schedule for coordinated programme for M&E works
  13. Coordinate with M&E Supervisors for the preparation of as-built information and submit to SWCCoordinator for his review
  14. Carry out weekly site inspection and report progress, quality, specifications, protection and problems.
  15. Prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers to issuedrawing for approval.
  16. Responsible for managing a team of M&E coordinators and BIM Modelers in the design and coordination works;
  17. Interfacing or M&E planning, coordination with consultants and document control such as monitoring of sample submission, approval status of drawing
  18. Coordinating, organizing and preparing construction and Interfacing/M&E documents and drawing
  19. Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications / drawings;
  20. Inform Project Director / Project Manager on any technical / site problems
  21. Supervise the progress of works on site;
  22. Coordination of sub-contractor's work and ensuring the work is on schedule.

Job Requirements:
