Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual to manage order inputs, coordinate shipment processes, and handle logistics-related administrative tasks. Ideal candidates possess strong knowledge in shipping and logistics, along with proficiency in MS Office. A minimum of two years of experience is desired, with responsibilities including communicating with customers and ensuring accuracy in order processing. Responsibilities

  • Input orders and ensure delivery accuracy.
  • Plan and forecast customer demand.
  • Prepare packing lists and shipping documents.
  • Inspect picking of goods for outbound shipment.
  • Communicate shipment status with customers.
  • Liaise with transporters for shipment matters.
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Provide timely feedback on issues.

Job description

Inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time

Plan and forecast with customers on upcoming demand and usage

Preparation of accurate Packing List and other shipping related documents

Ensure warehouse perform correct picking of goods for outbound shipment and inspect correct goods of inbound shipment

Communicates with customers and other counterparties for shipment status

Liaise with transporters , forwarders for all shipment matters.

Place Purchase orders with our Principals and Suppliers and responsible for purchasing function.

Ensure timely feedback of all problems and issues from customers and principals

Other administrative duties and ad-hoc duties

Qualifications

Knowledge of shipping, logistics and understanding of Incoterms, import/export procedures for air, sea and land transport is preferred.

Computer proficiency (MS Office – Excel, Word and Outlook)

Good administrative , organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsible , proactive, show initiative to learn and adapt to changes

Minimum 2 years of experience, salary depends on experience.
