Job summary

A logistics and supply chain firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional in Supplier & Contract Management. The candidate will support supplier qualification, manage logistics contracts, and oversee daily operations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of logistics experience, preferably in commodities trading. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding in a commodities trading company.
• Proven experience within ship agencies, freight forwarders, customs brokerage, and insurance providers.
• Experience in handling shipments in & out of North America, Southeast Asia, Europe, or the Middle East.

Job description

Supplier & Contract Management

Support supplier qualification, evaluation, and onboarding. Assist in negotiating and managing logistics service contracts.

Daily Logistics Operations

Act as the main contact for logistics providers. Manage North America shipment bookings, track shipment progress, provide timely updates, and verify cargo insurance and logistics invoices.

Risk Management & Issue Resolution

Monitor and manage risks for North America shipments. Resolve operational issues (e.g., equipment shortages, booking errors) and handle cargo insurance claim follow-ups.

Documentation & Finance

Review shipping documents, prepare payment requests, and coordinate Bill of Lading issuance, confirmation, and release.

Market Intelligence

Gather and analyze market trends related to renewable resources and North America logistics to support business decisions.

Additional Support

Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experiences in logistics, freight forwarding in a commodities trading company is preferred.
• Proven experience and established resources within ship agencies, freight forwarders, customs brokerage, and insurance providers.
• Experiences in handling shipments In & Out America or south east Asia or Europe or Middle East is preferred.
• Willing to Travel when required.
