Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore seeks a candidate for inventory management and material coordination tasks. Responsibilities include arranging delivery schedules, maintaining records, and preparing logistics documentation. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist in arranging delivery schedules for construction materials.
  • Maintain proper records of site materials, tools, and consumables.
  • Prepare and update logistics records and delivery documents.
  • Update daily/weekly material delivery and movement reports.
  • Handle logistics-related correspondence and calls.

Job Scope


  1. Material Coordination

    • Assist in arranging delivery schedules for construction materials and equipment.

    • Monitor incoming and outgoing materials to ensure timely arrival at site.

    • Verify delivery orders, packing lists, and invoices.



  2. Inventory & Stock Control

    • Maintain proper records of site materials, tools, and consumables.

    • Track stock levels and notify the team when replenishment is required.

    • Assist in conducting regular inventory checks.



  3. Documentation & Filing

    • Prepare and update logistics records, purchase orders, and delivery documents.

    • Ensure proper filing of delivery notes, permits, and related paperwork.

    • Support compliance with company and regulatory requirements.



  4. Reporting & Communication

    • Update daily/weekly material delivery and movement reports.

    • Provide logistics updates to project managers and site supervisors.

    • Assist in resolving logistics-related queries from site teams.



  5. General Administrative Support

    • Handle logistics-related correspondence and calls.

    • Assist in preparing permit applications for material movement (if required).

    • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the HOD or Site Manager.





Job Requirements


  1. O'Level, High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred)

  2. Fresh grads with no experience are welcome to apply as on the job training will be provided. However, experience with inventory management or logistics software is a plus.

  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  4. Able to speak and write in English and Chinese.

  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  7. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
