Qualifications

Job description:

JOB PURPOSE

Provide acupuncture services for patients using safe, effective, updated techniques and procedures to maximize optimal recovery.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Comply with Ethical Code and Ethical Guidelines for TCM Practitioners
2. Assess, establish and carry out acupuncture treatment plans of patients
3. Document treatment plans provided to patients in electronic medical records
4. Maintain professional growth and development through continuing education
5. Support and facilitate service evaluation and research studies related to Acupuncture, contributing to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement of the service through monitoring of clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and service efficiency

GENERAL

1. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with the public and staff
2. Comply with hospital policies & guidelines (E.g. Infection control, EHS, HR)
3. Participate and support organising of publicity or educational events to promote visibility and awareness of Acupuncture Services
4. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by reporting officer or management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education / Training / Experience

1. Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine / Degree in Traditional Medicine
2. Registered TCM Physician / Acupuncturist
3. Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills
4. 1 - 3 years of experience as acupuncturist

Professional License (if any)

1. Registered with Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB), Singapore with Conditional / Full Registration
2. Possess valid Practicing Certificate from TCMPB, Singapore
