Overview

We are recruiting for a large cap‑listed property investment, management and development group in Singapore. As they are looking to embark on new initiatives, they are inviting a Legal Manager to join them.

Job Title: Legal Manager – Location: Singapore – Reports to: Director and Head of Legal, South Asia.

Responsibilities
  • Report to the Director – Legal, liaise with government authorities, banks, joint‑venture parties and external counsel over legal matters.
  • Provide legal advice on regulatory, general corporate, commercial, real‑estate, employment, risk and other operational aspects of the business in Southeast Asia.
  • Manage and draft agreements and assist project financing, M&A and investment activities.
  • Ensure consistent quality standards in drafting and vetting of agreements.
  • Provide legal and regulatory advice for M&A and joint‑venture transactions in the South East Asia region.
  • Perform other work assigned by the department head.
Requirements
  • Degree in Law with a minimum of 5–10 years of experience.
  • At least 5 years of private practice experience in a top Singapore or international law firm; in‑house experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and good interpersonal skills.
  • Team player who values working collaboratively with others.
