Job summary

An engineering design firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced structural engineer to review design drawings, lead engineering coordination efforts, and implement standards in structural projects. Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Structural/Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in structural steel engineering coordinating.
• Good knowledge in detailing software (AutoCAD, TEKLA Structures, Microsoft Office suite).
• Good communication skills and effective team player.
• Self-starter and can work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and interprets design drawings and specifications.
• Implements standard code of practice and project specifications.
• Technical clarification and submission of RFI/TQ/RFA.
• Proposes better engineering alternatives and connection details.
• Leads a workgroup for engineering coordination and detailing.
• Monitors shop drawing schedules and prepare weekly progress report.
• Undertakes assignments as assigned by the Superior/Head of the Department.
