Job description

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will assist to manage and ensure efficient functioning of day-to-day operations in the kitchen. A self-motivated individual who has high emotional quotient and can thrive in a start-up environment and perform under stress would be most suited.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure smooth operation in the kitchen.
  • Assist implementation of processes and guidelines in the kitchen.
  • Monitor and manage quality of ingredients and food supplies.
  • Monitor and manage inventory level of ingredients and food supplies, ensuring there is sufficient to fulfil food orders and yet not to overstock, taking into consideration storage space and food wastage.
  • Conduct final checks on finished product to ensure food quality and presentation are in accordance to specifications.
  • Assist in overseeing workflow at various work stations to ensure that processes adhere strictly to SOP.
  • Oversee kitchen operations to ensure compliance with all food safety procedures and guidelines are strictly adhered.
  • Manage food/ingredients usage and consumption to minimize food wastage.
