Job description

As a Kinexys Business Development Associate, you will build new business relationships with global institutions in a wide range of industries (banks, non-banking financial institutions, fintechs, and corporates). Your sharp commercial judgment will help our overall team maximize revenue growth from new business relationships by prioritizing the most promising opportunities. You will also help us shape the overall product and business vision by channeling market feedback to our Product and Engineering teams.

Job Responsibilities
  • Proactively identifying and meeting with prospective clients
  • Developing and refining client business cases (typically co-created with client teams)
  • Prioritizing the most promising new business opportunities to maximize revenue and market impact
  • Gather and channel market feedback to influence product development and innovation
  • Collaborating with broader Kinexys and JPM teams to deliver seamlessly for clients
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Minimum 2 years' of experience in banking, finance, or related fields with exposure in payments system/fintech sales
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or other related disciplines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong commercial and sales acumen, including demonstrated ability to deal with senior clients and their teams
  • Self-starter with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset and high emotional intelligence
  • Facility with numerical and quantitative tasks, especially related to building/estimating client business cases
  • Strong understanding of global banking and payments products and services
  • Team-player mentality
