Job summary

A local building materials company in Singapore is seeking dedicated customer service staff to assist walk-in customers, handle inquiries, and manage sales transactions. The ideal candidate should have a strong motivation in sales, have good communication skills, and be a team player. This role requires prior experience in customer service, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work on a rotating six-day schedule, including public holidays.

What do we do?

We provide building materials products such as top quality stone and tile materials for all building and construction needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Attending to walk-in customers and provide excellent customer service with knowledge of product.
• Create sales invoices, arrange delivery orders and take in payments from customers.
• Manage customer inquiries, feedback, and after-service matters, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
• Follow up on due payments from customers.
• Manage display items as directed by manager.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Preferred

• Prior experience in industry is an advantage.
• Strong motivation in sales, shows good competency in communication and handling customers' matters.
• Good team-player, has a pleasant personality and willingness to learn more on the job.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Able to work six days a week on rotation, including public holidays.
