Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. is seeking an Assistant System Engineer to join the IT team in Singapore. The role covers onboarding, hardware setup, OS installation, and application configuration, with a focus on keeping systems secure and up to date.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, manage inventories, and provide first-line support across telephony, CCTV, and IT audits. The position requires collaboration with HR, project management, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Diploma in IT/CS with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Hands-on troubleshooting experience.
Experience with Office 365 admin and collaboration tools (Teams/OneDrive/SharePoint).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with HR to set up accounts for new hires and transfers, install/configure hardware, OS, and apps.
Plan and perform scheduled maintenance/upgrades for OS and hardware.
Maintain updated inventory and IT procedure documentation.
Manage storage and inventory of parts and equipment.
Interact with users to diagnose and resolve issues.
Handle Analogue and IP telephony including telco subscriptions.
Support CCTV as part of first-line support and provide recommendations.
Coordinate with project management on stakeholders and resources.
Assist with internal/external IT audits as needed.
Assist with DR plans and test execution for critical apps.
Work with principals to resolve problems remotely or onsite.
Assist with ad-hoc projects and other duties.
