Job summary

A leading offshore engineering company located in Singapore is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive end-to-end Desktop Support Managed Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical support to end-users, managing IT asset inventories, and troubleshooting both software and hardware issues. The ideal applicant will have a degree in Computer Science or related fields and at least 3 years of experience in IT within the offshore or project-based industry. Excellent communication skills in English are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT work for a midsize or large company.
• Preferably experience in similar industry (Offshore, Oil & Gas).

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for end-user services.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of desktops and peripherals.
• Manage IT assets and keep inventory updated.
• Install and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and applications.
• Resolving complex issues that others could not.

Skills

Technical certification (MCSE, Cisco, ITIL)

Experience with Windows Server

Experience with VMware/Nutanix

Experience in Active Directory

Fluent in spoken and written English

Education

Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Tools

Microsoft SCCM

AWS or Azure cloud
