IT Support Engineer Scope of responsibility
  • Part of Managed Services Team providing 7x24 support for IT systems and networks
  • Provide pre and post sales L1 and L2 technical support to sales team, customers and partners on IT systems, Cloud/Servers/Storage, Security, Wireless, Network, VoIP
  • Installation, configuration, test and commissioning of Cloud/Servers/Storage, Desktops, OS, Wireless, Networking, Firewall, Security, VOIP
  • Remote or onsite technical support for Cloud/Servers/Storage, Desktops, OS, Wireless, Networking, Firewall, Security, VOIP
  • Manage process, trouble tickets, and documentations for installation, maintenance, support, inventory, Lic, HW & SW renewals
  • Liaise with vendors/principals on all technical related matter. Escalation procedure to level 3 support by Vendors/Principals
  • Liaising and working in collaboration with other internal staff (if any), 3rd party companies like contractors, cabling installers
Requirement
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems from a recognized institution
  • 2 or more years experience in IT Managed Services and Support
  • Practical knowledge in ITIL implementation, practices and processes
  • Good hands‑on knowledge and troubleshooting skills on IT systems, especially Cloud/Servers/Storage, OS, Cybersecurity, or Networks
  • Good customer interaction, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with all levels, and ability to work and contribute in a team or individually
