Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an IT Helpdesk technician to respond to IT requests via email, portal, and phone, and to perform initial diagnostics with remote access tools.

You will support Windows desktops (7/8/10/11), Office 2013/2016 and Office 365, AD accounts, and basic networking, while maintaining clear communication with users and delivering timely updates on ticket progress.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in IT support or IT operations.
• Recognized industry certifications in PC, Network and Server support.
• Knowledge of operating systems and application software.
• Experience with Windows Desktop configurations (7/8/10/11).
• Experience with Microsoft Office 2013/2016 and Office 365.
• Basic networking experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT requests from all emails, portal, and telephone within the agreed targets.
• Perform troubleshooting and initial diagnostics of assigned IT tickets, including remote connection to end user devices.
• Communicate clearly to users in a timely and polite manner and keep the end user-informed of progress.
• Manage creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts (FTP, Active Directory, file permissions).
• Support applications such as Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business, GoToMeeting, Outlook and email archiving tools.
• Provide basic PC installations and configuration tasks.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Respond to IT requests from all emails, portal, and telephone within the agreed targets.
• Perform troubleshooting and initial diagnostics of assigned IT tickets, including remote connection to end user devices using remote access tools.
• Communicate clearly to users in a timely and polite manner and keep the end user-informed of the progress of IT requests at all appropriate times.
• Manage creation, modification, and deletion of users account management (FTP, Active Directory, file permissions) and perform clean-up projects of user profiles, files, email accounts.
• Supporting application such as Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business, conferencing tools such as GoToMeeting, Microsoft Outlook and email archiving tools.
• Provide basic PC installations and configuration tasks.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of working experience in a computer related support or and IT operational environment.
• One or more recognized industry certification in PC, Network and Server support (Comptia A+, Server +, Network +, MCP in Windows 7/8/10/11)
• Maintain adequate knowledge of operating systems and application software.
• Experience with configuring and supporting any version of Windows Desktop (7, 8,10,11).
• Experience with configuring and supporting Microsoft Office 2013/2016 and/or Office 365.
• Some basis experience with supporting physical networking is desirable but not essential.
