Job summary

Geektronics Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Engineer to be the front line of technical support for clients across Singapore. You will diagnose issues, keep systems running, and assist IT infrastructure projects from planning to rollout.

You will work across hardware, software, and networking, with on-site client visits; fresh graduates are welcome and structured training is provided to build skills in networking, systems administration, and ticketing workflows.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in engineering/IT preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Fresh graduates welcome; training to Level 2 support and network config.
• Experience in IT support or network engineering is an advantage.
• Certifications like CompTIA A+/Network+ or CCNA are a plus but not required.
• Experience with JIRA or similar ticketing systems is a plus.
• Fluent English; Mandarin proficiency required for client communication.
• Willingness to travel on-site across Singapore; own transport is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and 2 support via phone, chat, ticketing, and on-site visits.
• Log incidents in the ticketing system and escalate when needed.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Deploy and maintain Windows and macOS systems and apps.
• Maintain NAS: folders, permissions, backups.
• Support and manage MDM platforms for devices.
• Assist in IT infrastructure deployment projects and office rollouts.
• Maintain network diagrams and SOPs.
• Provide end-user training on system usage.
• Travel across Singapore to client sites for hands-on support.
