Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking an on-site IT Support Specialist to resolve hardware and software issues, deliver ready-to-use computers, and provide short training to users. You will manage device stock, update CMDB records, conduct regular inventory, coordinate local logistics, handle warranty cases with OEMs, and escalate according to OSS Runbook and SOPs.

Three years' experience and ITIL certification are preferred; strong customer service and communication skills

Qualifications

• Formal IT qualification or apprenticeship completed.
• Three years of on-site IT support experience.
• ITIL certification is beneficial.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot IT issues that require physical attention and resolve them promptly.
• Deliver computers in a ready-to-use state with proper setup and functionality.
• Provide ad-hoc training to IT users on common IT matters and self-service tools.
• Manage physical stock of devices and update CMDB records for inventory accuracy.
• Conduct regular hardware inventory checks to ensure availability and readiness.
• Coordinate local logistics to ship and move devices across locations as needed.
• Handle warranty cases with OEM vendors to minimize disruption.
• Identify and report risks that could affect OSS service quality and address them proactively.
• Support end users and IT equipment in meeting rooms and collaboration areas.
• Host and support third-party technicians to ensure smooth collaboration and resolution.
• Perform regular checks of computer rooms (temperature, cooling, cabling, functionality).
• Follow OSS governance procedures, participate in meetings, and adhere to escalation paths.
