Job summary

An innovative retail technology firm in Singapore seeks an experienced IT Executive / Assistant IT Manager to support and enhance retail IT systems, including POS and ERP platforms. Qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on IT Executive / Assistant IT Manager to support the setup, maintenance, and enhancement of retail IT systems, including POS, ERP, and Microsoft Dynamics platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, solid technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

System Support & Maintenance

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining IT systems (POS, ERP, Microsoft Dynamics).

  • Act as the first point of contact for all technical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee hardware maintenance (PCs, laptops, scanners, printers, etc.).
  • Review and monitor daily system operations to ensure smooth business performance.
  • Plan and execute IT setup for new store openings and bi‑annual stock‑take events.
  • Handle new user onboarding, including workstation setup and account creation.
  • Conduct Business Central system training for new users.

Merchandising & ERP System Support

  • Support merchandising and operations teams on change requests for ERP and POS systems.
  • Manage system enhancements, feature development, and process automation initiatives.
  • Prepare technical and functional documentation and obtain user acceptance.
  • Perform UAT and migrate approved program changes to the production environment.
  • Continuously improve and optimise existing workflows and system capabilities.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in LS Retail and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (NAV).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on approach.
  • Experience in retail industry processes preferred.
