About the Role
The IT Executive will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and daily IT operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT services across the organization, including endpoint support, network operations, cloud services, and information security compliance.
Working closely with the IT Manager and internal stakeholders, the IT Executive will handle incident management, user support, IT asset administration, and compliance‑related activities while contributing to continuous improvement of IT operations and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Provide IT support for network systems (LAN, WAN, VPN), including configuration and operation.
- Provide support for email client configuration, archiving, and troubleshooting.
- Install, upgrade, configure, and troubleshoot network printing and scanning.
- Provide assistance with Windows endpoints administration and configuration.
- Set up internet routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Responsible for updating security patches for servers.
- Provide support in IT security operations.
- Provide support for inventory management through managing, tracking, and reporting of all IT assets.
- Support research, implementation, maintenance, and control of company‑issued cloud services (e.g. Azure, AWS).
- Coordinate and manage IT operational requests and incidents, and recommend improvements to the IT Manager.
- Support user provisioning and IT asset assignment and recording processes.
- Coordinate with IT assistants and support daily IT operational processes.
- Maintain records and documentation management.
- Review and update ISO training content with guidance from the IT Manager.
- Provide support in the implementation of information security and audit processes.
- Conduct ISO and IT service orientation and refresher training.
- Support company compliance requirements (including but not limited to ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, SOC).
- Assist in IT projects or activities as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT support, system administration, or technical support.
Basic knowledge of:
- Windows operating systems and endpoint setup.
- Computer hardware installation and troubleshooting.
- Network fundamentals (LAN, WAN, routers, switches, basic firewall concepts).
- Email client configuration and basic troubleshooting.
Familiarity with:
- Network printers and scanners.
- IT asset inventory tracking and documentation.
- Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS (basic exposure is sufficient).
Additional qualifications and expectations
- Basic understanding of IT security concepts and willingness to learn security operations and patch management.
- Willingness to learn and support ISO and information security compliance requirements (e.g. ISO 27001).
- Good problem‑solving skills and a customer‑service mindset.
- Able to work independently with guidance and collaborate well within a team.
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Onsite work in Singapore is required.
