Job description

Position Summary

The role is to ensure the delivery of efficient end user support services in alignment with the business objectives. The person will provide technical expertise and undertake to the outsourced vendors on the on-going operation support on IT infrastructure, End User Computing and meeting room facilities covering IT asset management, service request management, service transition, incident management, change management, process improvement.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Specific responsibilities of the IT Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Operation Efficiency: Ensuring the secure and efficient operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, software, and IT infrastructure can support business operation and growth.
• ITSM Responsibility: Ensure that IT operations activities are tracked in ITSM Platform which include and not limited to Incident, Change, Problem, Configuration and Release Management. Responsible for IT hardware and software asset lifecycle management, Inventory Management, Software Package Distribution, Software/System Patchin, Version Upgrade, and Software License Review.
• EUC Support: Well verse in Microsoft 365 Intune to support IT activity in the EUC environment
• Project Support: To support Project initiatives.
• Documentation and Reporting: Develop and implement IT standard operating procedures and reviewing and enhancing existing procedures.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Planning and managing IT budgets, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, to ensure cost effectiveness.
• AV Support: Have knowledge in supporting major corporate events and meeting room equipment. Virtual meeting primarily collaborating with Microsoft Team Platform

Preferred Experience

• Extensive experience in managing and monitoring IT operations supported by outsourced vendors.
• Technical skills in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 is strongly recommended
• Experience in using ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platform.
• Engagement capabilities to manage stakeholder and internal and/ or external partners.
• Result oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to ensure the progression for operational issues/projects.
• An excellent command of both spoken and written English
