Job summary

A leading financial institution in Singapore seeks a Cloud Operations Engineer to evolve modern practices related to public cloud and ensure the security of IT assets. Candidates should have at least 8 years of development experience, strong python or YAML programming skills, and excellent communication abilities. This role includes responsibilities like escalation support for cloud issues and participation in various stakeholder meetings. AWS certifications are highly desirable for this position.

Cloud Related Operations And Engineering

• Practice and evolve modern practices as it applies to Public Cloud such as infra as code, immutable infra, blue / green deployments, CI/CD
• Ensure IT assets in Public cloud are secure and protected.
• Raise Change requests and adhere to Bank Change process
• Plan and execute cutovers as required
• Function as level 2/3 escalation point for any cloud related operational issues
• Keep updated on required industry reading as it pertains to Technology in the financial services industry primarily MAS and ABS.
• IT Department SOP
• Bank Procurement Guidelines and SOP
• AWS Well architected framework and whitepapers

Other Responsibilities

• Participation in Stakeholder meetings;
• Participation in relevant IT Department meetings;

Requirements
